Smile for Life

Sunday morning.
Waking up at 9, drinking a cup of green tea and tasting a cake that I made yesterday.
The sunshine coming through my window is making me feel like Im on the top of the world.
Why should people's behaviour make me feel rough?
I wanna be self-dependent, no emotional involvement anymore.
I'd like to be careless and young, free as the birds that fly with weightless souls.
No chance to be happy only by ourselves, life is all about sharing.
We are not individuals, people live in groups, teams, tribes.
We could be happy by ourselves, making our life as great as possible.
But we cannot avoid connection with people.
We'll always be depending on people we interact with.
All you have to do, if somebody gives you negative emotions, is to let him go.
Today, sunday morning, sunny day.
I'm going to smile for life, to smile for the people I love, to smile for the life that I'm building.
Today I'll start to care less about people that don't deserve me.

Now you're just somebody that I used to know.

Tales from Poland

Once upon a time there was a little girl called Anna, she was born in the land which is known now as Poland in the little town of Legnica. At the age of 4 she moved to Italy, where she's still living with her parents on the seaside close to the capital city.
Well, that little girl now is 21 and she's a globetrotter who once a year come back to her motherland for Xmas time.
I've been in Poland for almost 3 weeks after a great week, actually 10 days because of the car at the mechanichian (yeah, it happened), of snowboarding on Dolomiti Alps with my parents and some Polish friends. As usual, I spent Xmas time at my aunt's place with my cousins and my grandma and I really enjoyed it because it happens only once a year when your family meet altogether and there's something magic in it. The only thing that missed was snow, this year was cruel as of snowflakes and everywhere people was waiting for some fresh powder that didn't arrive. All in all it was a great Xmas.
I could say that when Im in Poland I really love going to the cinema and I broke my previous record going 6 times to the cinema during 3weeks of my staying (it was kinda new challenge or maybe simply because I like the cinema) and I also had 2 films at the same day, it was freaky!
Im proud to announce that we have an indoor skatepark in Wroclaw, named Zajezdnia Skatepark, so I was able to sk8boarding in winter too with my polish rider friend Wojtek, we were there twice.
I planned my New Year's Eve two days before that, at last minute I chose the party at the dormitory of the University of Economy where each year students who live there organize a party in the corridors (there are 10 floors) and some of them make parties in the elevators too, it's so funny! At midnight everybody go to the hill close to the building where it's possible to see fireworks from all parts of the city, such an amazing shimmering sky.
Weather wasn't so good at all everyday was cloudy with a gray sky and no sun, but sometimes it was sunny too. It snowed twice: the day in which I arrived to Poland and the one that I left. Luckily, I've been snowboarding on new year, only once, and riding some fresh powder between trees was amazing. A snowpark probably could transform that day in a perfect one but it was ok anyway.
All in all, it was a good Polish trip. I like to go there because I can meet my family and some of friends who I see only once a year and that's a little bit sad. But on the other hand, meeting them only sometimes makes me want to see them and they never make me bored. It's like having double home, a half of my life in Poland and the other half in Italy.

Winter season began!

Shower of snow flakes where are you? It's 8th december and the majority of Italian ski resorts don't have enough snow. Last year it snowed at the beginning of november and we had a lot of powder to shred in decemeber. Unfortunately this year is not the same.
Don't be afraid! Most weather forecast said that degrees are falling down, so get a smile on yout face and let's think positive because snow is coming. Yesterday night snowed in Cervinia and the town of Les 2 Alpes is covered of some fresh snow. In addition, some of the eastern resorts are fitted by artificial snow so it means that slopes will be ready soon thanks to the low degrees.
Weather forecast not always says truth, it varies from day to day so the only thing you can do is hope for some snowing and check webcams daily to see changes.
Im leaving this saturday for Val di Sole, into Dolomiti Alps, and Im so stoked about that. I just wanna shred again and kill some features of the Ursus and Up&Fun snowparks! Im a believer and I know that everything will be prepared and that snow will come.
What about you? Are you ready to begin your shredding winter?

Actually, the season never ends.. it's always snowing somewhere! Riding Les 2 Alpes glacier during summer and ocotber, and going around Italian Alps on winter. That pic was taken in L2A last october during the Enjoy The Glacier (Opening L2A).

An introduction to myself

I'm just a normal person of that so called society. As everyone in this world, I follow my dreams being always positive and believing in myself. I am what I am and nobody will change it, because we have to be ourselves and nothing else. I don't like people influenced by other people, or some of them whose follow fashion or the mass.
I really love to travel, that's the best way to open your mind, discovering new places, meeting new people and learning about different cultures. The world is a great book, of which they that never stir from home read only a page. I'd like to visit all contintents, since I only had visited some countries in Europe.
My life goes around snowboarding, some years ago I felt in love with this sport. That's more than an hobbie, it's a passion, it's something that represent yourself, your life. Snowboarding makes me happy, everything about snowboarding makes me smile.
I study foreign languages at university due to extend my cultural baggage for personal interests, but it's useful for a job future too. Furthermore, there's nothing better than travelling and be able to speak to the natives in their own language and understand how their language work.
Art is a way to express yourself and I really like it. I'm addicted to photograPHy, since I think that all pics that you take have something special, catching the best moments of your life. Through photos you feel emotions. Some years ago I was a 'writer' in graffiti art, but then I stopped. Probably because I wasn't enough interested in it. I like to express my creativeness doing collages, working on crochet and modifying clothes.
In counclusion, I could say just live your life and don't care about what people say, you have to be yourself and nobody else. That's the way to feelgood and remember that believing in yourself is the most powerful source to get whatever you want and to be happy.

What motivates you?

I enjoy every second of my life, as life is too short to be unhappy. People live their lives too fast and superficially, and therefore they regret it.
Books are a powerful source of information and inspiration, that's why I used to read them. Once I read "Vagabonding" written by Rolf Potts, who's a National Geographic reporter, where he suggested a different way of travelling for a long time without any plans, also without arranging a large amount of money. He really motivated me since I love travelling and that solves my economic problems. Again, another book changed my mentality due to its way of approaching to the world. First, Mr and Mrs Hicks talk about the law of attraction and how it works in our everyday life, where having a positive mood attracts only positive vibrations to you from the universe. In spite of being angry or annoyed about something, I tried to keep an easy going approach to everything in my life, and that was rewarding.
Indeed, having this positive mood changes the way I look at things. As a result, I never feel demotivated and if something awful happens to me I'm able to overcome it without any problems.
I love snowboarding even though I sometimes get hurt but that's the price one pays for being successful.
Furthermore, my parents and my best friends always motivate me in choices trying to be helpful in my needs.
Finally, various successful people make me want to improve my life and follow my instinct since I heard their speeches or read articles about them.
In conclusion, I'm utterly convinced that my dreams will come true because I believe in myself and I know what I want. I only have to find the way to get there. Life presents us several difficulties, yet we are full of motivation to overcome them.

Sweet thoughts from the summer..

Wake me up when september ends.. the month between the summer and the beginning of my Uni's courses, full of exams to do. Im thinking about my sweet summer that I spent in Les 2 Alpes staying there for almost 2 months with all my "Family" ... Home is wherever Im with u! My home is Facciosnao Camp.

My summer was like going up to the glacier every morning to snowboarding with my homies and having fun..
Although it was a lil bit cold july, summer on the glacier was so cool. Snow on july was pretty good icy in the morning and then perfect to shred until 1PM while august was a bit worse because of the high temperature.

Apart snowboarding I had really good days chillin' with my friends all around 2Alpes with its amazing places where to go like Venosc or to do rafting a La Grave or starting to free climbing.

Nightlife over there is amusing where every wednsday there's "Gran Miercoles" night and everbody goes to partying. I spent all my nights at Smithy's and Mini Bar pubs to drinking with and meeting some friends ending the party at Avalanche disco. In july I had a lot of fun meeting friends all around Europe who I can meet only there and rarely during the year.. some russian, dutch and spanish guys and chicks and italian friends too. August was pretty worse but however I had fun with my homies.

At the end of the season on 28th of august we left L2A in direction to Hossegor! After a summer working at the camp, my Facciosnao staff and me went to our Surf House in front of the ocean enjoying a week of surfing and chilling...

Stay tuned!
